If you thought you knew what World Music was all about, wait until you listen to this !
THE SOUND OF THE PLANET
Since its creation over a century ago,
Esperanto, the international language,
has generated its own literature, poetry,
drama, and of course, song lyrics adapted to a multitude of music
trends from throughout the world. Styles range from medieval
folklore all the way to experimental electronic manoeuvres. Every
flavour of Rock, Pop and Folk Music as well as traditional
European, Latin, Slavic and African rhythms, have successfully
carried Dr Zamenhof's borderless language all around the
globe.
Far beyond a passing fad, this true commitment is an attempt to
bring nations and generations together over an unselfish,
inspired and legitimately universal concept. It's a rare and
exotic experience, unhampered by time or economic stress, open to
all those in search of an untarnished symbolism, or at least, an
awesome curiosity !
Vinilkosmo has been producing and distributing Esperanto Music
for nearly two decades, and though our trade is aimed towards
selling records and contributing, as much as possible, to the
evolution of the Esperanto language and music worldwide, we are
happy to offer you a full free hour of the " sound of the
planet " to listen to, and free Esperanto music downloads
as an introduction to this very unusual music scene.
However, if you decide to purchase a record or two, fear
not ! Our merchant account is also borderless ;-) so
our native Euros will be automatically converted to your national
currency at bank level, and all transactions as well as your
privacy are totally secure.
So just click and enjoy !
