Release of the new digital EP La MondAnoj  on 18 november 2025

La Mondanoj is an Esperanto rock band from Berlin that was founded in 1983. In the 1980s La Mondanoj often played in regular music clubs in Germany and at Esperanto events in Hungary, Poland, France, and Germany. It disbanded in 1987 after a final concert at the 100th anniversary of Esperanto in Kraków.

Focusing on their careers and families, Tom, Carsten, and Aaron never lost their passion for music, and reestablished the band in June 2023.

Their music combines classic rock, funk, blues, and other influences into a unique mix that matches Esperanto’s beautiful sound and humanitarian message.

La Mondanoj's new EP with six songs will be released on November 18th. It contains four new recordings, the original version of their classic hit "Muskola Belulino", and a rare recording of the International Esperanto Youth Congress from 1985, restored with AI technology.

Permanent members are:
Aaron Koenig: lead vocals and rhythm guitar
Carsten Kindermann: bass guitar and backing vocals
Tom Wunderlich: lead guitar and backing vocals

Having lost contact with their original drummer Marcus Wesche, La Mondanoj now play with 25-year-old Niklas Neumann on drums.
