New single by DUBAMIX with contributions from Maragan' in Esperanto, El Comunero, The Klezmatics
While the band DUBAMIX (France) awaits the release of the album (June 27, 2026),
Here is a new song on June 5, 2026!
“L’Estaca” (the stake) with contributions from Maragan' in Esperanto, El Comunero, The Klezmatics.
Composed in 1968 by Lluís Llach under the Franco dictatorship, “L’Estaca” was banned because singing in Catalan was already an act of resistance – and its lyrics, calling on people to unite on the rotten pole that shackles them, left no doubt about the message.
We created a decidedly internationalist dub version, bringing together Maragan' (Esperanto), El Comunero (Catalan), and The Klezmatics (Yiddish).
See you on June 5, 2026!
