Official release of IVIDUB’s (Ividob’) first Esperanto production, La nep' de la sun', on July 6, 2026.
IVIDUB, a band from the Toulouse area, offers an authentic sound that blends modern reggae, dub, with electro-pop.
Their poetic and socially conscious lyrics realistically reflect current social issues, yet without hatred or violence, conveying a powerful message with a gentle touch.
While preparing their new album, Ivi and Morine naturally suggested trying to sing a song in Esperanto, that resonates with the subject matter (immigration and tolerance) and the spirit of Esperanto (the international language).
With the collaboration of Giuseppe Castelli, who translated, adapted, and assisted Morine with the vocals for the song “La nep’ de la sun’” (the grandson of the sun).
