Release of the digital EP 6 titles La MondAnoj on 18 November 2025

La Mondanoj’s new EP with six songs will be released on November 18th. It contains four new recordings and two treasures from La Mondanoj’s past.

La Junularo de Hodiaŭ is a hard rock song that seems to mock today's youth from the perspective of old hippies. This is ironic, because La Mondanoj love young people and are not hippies at all. It was chosen as the “Esperanto Song of the Year 2024” at the Kantoparado.

Muskola Belulino (2025) is a new version of our song about a weakling who falls in love with his trainer. This is a completely new arrangement with a cool brass section and funk keyboard. Do you prefer this funk version or the original rock version from 1985?

Lakto-Koktelejo Blus' is a relaxed blues number that tells the sad story of a poor guy who lost everything and drowns his sorrow in milk. Cheers!

Rapidu Vagonaro was written during a trip using Pasporta Servo through Hungary in 1984. It is a fictional story about a lumberjack who longs to go home to his wife, but falls in love with a girl on the train. Its soulful rhythm evokes the feeling of a train journey.

Muskola Belulino (1985) is the original, rock version, released on Vinilkosmo-kompil' Vol. 1 on 1995– the only song we recorded in a professional studio in our early period. It begins with a tribute to Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz” with the now widely used expression “Ĉu vi pretas?” (Are you ready?).

Tenu Min was recorded live at the International Youth Congress in Eringerfeld Castle (Germany) in July 1985. Its poor sound quality has been improved with the help of modern AI technology. This psychedelic rock track is a rare gem from the 40-year history of La Mondanoj.

All songs were written by Carsten Kindermann and Aaron Koenig in 1984/1985 and arranged by La Mondanoj, with Tom Wunderlich on lead guitar. Marcus Wesche played drums on “Muskola Belulino” (1985) and “Tenu Min”. Julio Kladniew from Buenos Aires arranged the brass section and played keyboards on “Muskola Belulino” (2025).
The four new recordings were produced by Uwe Häusler at Electric Uweland Studios in Berlin, and he also played piano. They were mastered by Triboulet in Studio de La Trappe at Vinilkosmo in Donneville, France. The restoration of “Tenu Min” was done by Iliya Gertman from Tel Aviv.

In this EP La Mondanoj are:
Aaron Koenig and Carsten Kindermann: writers and composers
Aaron Koenig: lead vocals and rhythm guitar
Carsten Kindermann: backing vocals and bass guitar
Tom Wunderlich: backing vocals and lead guitar

Recording and mixing: Uwe Häusler at Electric Uweland studio, Berlin, Germany
